About Denice

Denice has been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1992, over 34 years. She has a Master’s in Acupuncture and is nationally certified as a Diplomate (NCCAOM). and has served as an instructor for five years for the Traditional Chinese College of Hawai‘i, teaching Diagnosis & Pathology, Chinese Pharmacology I & II, is currently Vice President with the state organization, HAMA, Hawaii Acupuncture Medicine Association.

Denice’s certifications include Sports Medicine & Facscia Release Acupuncture; Micro-Needling for Face & Body, Scarring, and Hair Restoration; Japanese Meridian Therapy; Fertility, Women’s Health & Pediatric (needleless) Acupuncture & Sho-Ni-Shin; Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture; Nutrition; Advanced Chinese Pharmacology & Herbal Medicine. Other studies include Mayan Abdominal Therapy, Matrix Energetics Training, Kinesiology, Neurolink, Wisdom of the Body, BodyTalk. Adding to her accolades, she is a Master practitioner in Reiki, Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. She has trained under Dr. Angela Long, Dr. Lam Kong, Dr. David Legge, Dr. Soma Glick, Master Kiiko Matsumoto, Master Michelle Gellis, East West MicroNeedling, ProCell MicroNeedling, and Susan Johnson in Master Tung’s Acupuncture, among others.

Denice chose this path as a result of her personal healing journey while receiving acupuncture…She learned first-hand how Eastern Medicine integrated the mind, body and spirit to gently, but completely relieve imbalances.

Denice’s artistic canvas is a bountiful palette of healing modalities and traditions, supporting her passion for cooking with whole foods for optimum health, gardening, feng shui, enjoying her family, 6 grandchildren, great grandchild, travel, and joyful interaction with the ocean. Her expertise in holistic health is boasted by patients who share their personal testimonials and stories of their healing journeys.
